RFID tags in the 125 kHz frequency range are manufactured with RFID chips from EM Microelectronic, NXP or ATMEL. The most widely used tags are equipped with the EM4102 and downward compatible EM4200 RFID chip. For this RFID chip type, a wide range of readers is available for connection to access control evaluation units and stand alone devices. The tags are available as RFID card, key fob with RFID chip as well as stickers (labels) and bracelets.
